The Silence is a four part thriller/drama telivision programme made for the UK Television Network BBC, the series deals with the trauma suffered by Amelia Edwards aged 18 years after witnessing a homicide, deaf from birth Amelia Edwards has recently had a Cochlear Implant fitted. The part of Amelia is played by deaf actor Genevieve Barr. The series was written by Australian writer Fiona Seres and picked up by the BBC
